Santo Domingo.- Members of the Dominican Evangelical Church They said this Wednesday that they do not despise or reject those people who have a different sexual orientation because they are not called to “judge or demonize.” However, they admitted that they have a biblical order that goes beyond themselves.
“The word tells us about the image of God in the human being, in such a way that we cannot demonize human problems or view people who have other orientations with contempt or hatred,” said Xiomara Rosario, pastor of the Evangelical Church Dominican in Villa Juana.
“However, we have by biblical order and our faith what is man, woman and children… that is, a line of what the family is,” he added.
He explained that both homosexuals and all those who do not identify as heterosexual can go to church and participate in activities without fear of being rejected, but stressed that “they must be aware that there are principles that mark them.”

“But, there are some who go too far feeling like mice or cockroaches and that’s not,” he stressed, referring to trans-species people.
Rosario invited people to think and reflect on the subject, since she assures that “the church privileges the union of the family.”
His statements were issued at the weekly lunch of the Corripio Communications Group, where Miguel Ángel Cancú, Bishop of the Dominican Evangelical Church; Jeremías Brafett, rector of the Theological Seminary; Sebastiana Javier, director of the Central Evangelical School and Faustino Cedeño, teacher of the Higüey public school.
