New York.-The Dominican-American Chamber of Commercechaired by Manuel Lebrón, will hold this Saturday, February 19, the 5th seminar: “Domestic Violence Induced by Alcohol and Drugs”, in which specialists in the field will intervene and will be attended by Jaime Marte Martínez, president of the National Council of Drugs (CND) and important representatives of the Dominican diaspora.
The educational-preventive activity will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. at the headquarters of the Dominican-American Chamber, located at 3835 9TH avenue, NY.
The panelists who will participate are: Carmen de la Rosa, Councilor for District 10 of New York; Fiordaliza A. Rodríguez, Judge of the Family Court in the Bronx, NY; Ana Guzmán Peña, Juvenile Rehabilitation of Agpena Consulting, Washington DC and the host Lebrón.

Between the guests Specials include Congressman Adriano Espaillat; Ydanis Rodríguez, NY Transportation Commissioner; and judges Nestor Diaz, Manuel Méndez, Patria Frías Colon, Rita Mella and Llinet Rosado.
The seminar is sponsored by the Committee on Alcohol and Drug Prevention, NY, and the CND, chaired by Marte Martínez, honorary member of the Dominican-American Chamber of Commerce, to develop joint preventive strategies for the benefit of Dominicans residing in the United States and the Dominican Republic.
