The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Julin Domnguez, said that “the Argentine agri-food system is part of the solution to sustainability problems,” in dialogue with the person in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Union, Janusz Wojciechowski.
At the meeting, which took place in virtual format, Domnguez said that the “Argentina is internationally recognized both for the quality and safety of its agricultural production as well as for the way it does it. “

In addition, the head of Agriculture expressed “the collective responsibility in the care of the common home” but remarked that “Argentina only represents 0.7% of total world emissions and is not within the group of major global pollutants.”
Likewise, the minister stressed that our country “has a lot of experience to share in terms of sustainable agricultural production” and said he is “in a privileged position to respond to the demands of the European Union and from other markets through sustainable technological intensification of our production. “
To its turn, Wojciechowski ponders the contribution of producers to the global challenge of food security and celebrated the joint commitment “around the evolution of agriculture with sustainable food production”.
