Francisco Domínguez Brito, presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), yesterday presented his campaign management team.
In the political structure, for the first time a woman will be the general director of the campaign, the member of the Political Committee, Margarita Pimentel, and the also member of the Political Committee, Víctor Suárez, will occupy the direction of the political cabinet.
“For the first time in the political history of our country and our party, a brave and capable, humble and strong-willed woman, a member of the Political Committee of our party, will occupy from today the general direction of the campaign of our presidential project. Francis stated.
“Francisco today makes history. This presidential project symbolizes and represents the hope of a country full of uncertainty.
Francisco represents the light that illuminates the safe path, to return to the state of stability and well-being that our country has lost. Francisco represents the best option, for our party and for society,” Pimentel said.
Domínguez Brito explained that as part of the strengthening of his campaign management team, Suárez will be the director of the political cabinet and official spokesperson for the presidential project.
“This cabinet brings together the highest political level team and establishes the strategic lines of our candidacy. I assume the great responsibility of coordinating this political team, we will work with passion and determination to win the internal consultation process that will take place on October 16,” said Suárez.
He highlighted Francisco’s commitment to Dominican women, by choosing a woman with a political career, honest and hardworking.
“The combination of an excellent candidate such as Francisco, with the campaign coordination headed by Margarita Pimentel and whoever speaks to them, there is no doubt that we will win the internal consultation and that in 2024 we will bring the PLD to government,” said Víctor Suarez.
