Dollar in Colombia gains strength and rises above 4,700 pesos

Dollar continues in free fall: minimum price is close to $4,500

The dollar in Colombia continues on the downward path and its minimum price is already close to the $4,500 barrier.

According to the Colombian Stock Market, the US currency marked an opening price of $4,508 and looked to break down this barrier.

At this time (9:40 am) its average price is located at $4,538, that is, it falls 7 pesos with respect to the TRM of the day, which is $4,545.

The exchange rate continues to fall, a trend that has been maintained since last week and that makes the Colombian peso one of the emerging currencies that recovers the most against the dollar.

Analysts agree that with the weakness of the global dollar, some additional demand for currencies in the region is expected.
