Documentary “La Habana de Fito” will arrive this week in New York

The documentary Fito’s Havanaby the Cuban director Juan Pin Vilarwill be screened on Wednesday, November 9 during the 22nd edition of the Havana Film Festival in New York.

The film brings together more than 100 minutes of interviews, testimonies and images about the stay in the Cuban capital of Argentine singer-songwriter Fito Paéz, one of the rock icons in Latin America and in Spanish-speaking countries, as recalled in a report by Latin Press (PL).

The film is produced by Ricardo Figueredo and Josué García, in addition to the collaboration of Cooperativa Producciones, La Rueda Films and X Pin Producciones, the report points out.

It also has the support of the Fund for the Promotion of Cuban Cinema, while the photography is Raúl Prado’s seal, the edition is carried out by Marian Quintana and the soundtrack is assumed by Velia Díaz de Villalvilla.

The Havana Film Festival will take place until November 10 and is dedicated to the years of disclosure and promotion of Latin American filmography, for which it has screened a sample of more than 30 award-winning films at international events.
