Doctors lift the work stoppage at the Rafael Hernández Hospital

As positive, the Administration of the Social Security Fund took the decision of the medical unions to suspend the strike to care for patients at the “Dr. Rafael Hernández L.”, starting next Monday, July 24.

Dr. Yelkys Gill, national executive director of Health Services and Benefits, pointed out that the decision of the group of doctors to return to work has been positive, since it was the insured and uninsured patients who were suffering from the decision of the strikers.
“For them it was our cry to return to serve. Thank God our requests were heard,” he added.

He also said that the percentages of supplies and medicines that are arriving in the institution’s warehouses in recent weeks have been increasing.
He added that the Administration has kept, keeps and will keep the doors open to hold and develop dialogues and consensuses that allow improving the service provided to CSS users. “They are the object of being of this noble institution,” she declared.
