On the morning of last Wednesday, users and workers of a building located on Avenida La Cultura (Cusco), alerted the authorities about the death of a person, who had fallen from the eighth floor of the building towards the reception area.
The event occurred minutes after 08:00 a.m., when dozens of patients were in the different medical offices that work in the ‘San Luis’ building.
After what happened, police officers arrived at the scene but the victim was already lifeless, those in charge of the building closed the doors waiting for the representatives of the Public Ministry.
As the hours passed, the deceased was identified as Sany Benites, a doctor at the EsSalud Adolfo Guevara hospital, whose death is under investigation.
In life, the deceased was the head of the Blood Bank of the aforementioned hospital, after her death there was evidence of regret for the departure of the professional.
On January 25, the person identified as Franklin Pérez, a worker in the Seda Cusco company’s Wastewater Department, died in the same building and under similar circumstances. Both cases are investigated by police experts.
