The National Learning Service (Sena) announced new calls for employment through the Team project (Specialized Colombian Workers for Germany) to work in the German country.
According to the information provided by the educational entity, a total of 10 Colombians are required to work in the electrical and health sector; more specifically, six nurses and four electrical technologists.
Requirements to participate
In order to apply for one of these vacancies, interested people must approve the profession, a process that would take between 8 and 10 months, but can also take up to two years, depending on the applicant’s process.
According to what the employment agency specified, during the recognition process, the pre-selected people will receive a monthly salary, as well as financial assistance to take the German language course, whether virtual or in-person.
It is worth mentioning that mastery of this language is not mandatory in the first stage of the process, but during homologation, candidates must successfully pass the knowledge test and pass the German exam.
Once the contract has been signed, the employee will be able to access various benefits, such as airline tickets and social benefits (pension plan, group accident insurance, parental leave, etc.).
The calls will be open until the requested candidate quota is completed before October 27, 2024.
Profile of electrical technologists
– Educational level: degree in Industrial Electricity Technology.
– Experience: 12 months in residential building electronics.
– Language: Knowledge of German at the beginning of the project is not required, but willingness to learn the language is required to certify the level required by the company.
– Type of contract: term defined at the time of approval for the purpose of a fixed and indefinite contract when already approved.
– Salary: during the approval process: approx. 2,600.00 gross euros per month ($11,879,556.23). After process: approx. 2,900.00 gross euros per month ($13,246,167.33).
– Place of execution of vacancies: Cities where the company has a presence in Germany.

Nurses profile
– Educational level: professional nursing degree, with knowledge in the operating room, intensive care and general ward. Registration in the Single National Registry of Human Talent in Health (ReTHUS) and Professional card issued by the OCE.
– Language: Knowledge of German at the beginning of the project is not required, but willingness to learn the language is required to certify the level required by the company.
– Experience: minimum 12 months, desirable 24 months, in basic care and treatment.
– Place of execution of vacancies: Frankfurt, Germany.
– Salary: during the approval process: approx. 2,585.12 euros gross per month ($11,812,024.23). After the approval process: approx. 3,091.51 gross euros per month ($14,125,097.08)
