When will the Cablebús service be suspended?
The Line 1 of the Cablebus, in Gustavo A. Maderowhich runs from Cuautepec to Indios Verdes, will stop serving passengers from Monday June 6 to Saturday June 11 at the following stations:
- Cuautepec
- Tlalpexco
- Revolution Fields
- Shepherdess
- Ticoman
- Green Indians
While in the line 2 in Iztapalapafrom the Constitution of 1917 to Santa Marta, will have two stages in the suspension of its service:
From Sunday 10 to Saturday 16 July:
- Santa Marta
- San Miguel Teotongo
- Lomas de la Estancia
- Xalpa
From Sunday 17 to Sunday 24 July:
- Xalpa
- The Buenavista Towers
- Quetzalcoatl
- Constitution of 1917
Why will the two Cablebus lines close?
An annual review will be carried out on both lines that corresponds to the first year of service of this transport system, said Andrés Lajous, secretary of Mobility (Semovi).
“It is a procedure that aims to be able to continue offering the high quality of service that our Cablebús or cable car lines have in Mexico City and, also, to have all the measures and compliance with all safety regulations, that are determined since our lines were built”, explained the official.
