DNCP and DENDE will sign an Inter-institutional Agreement within the framework of the transparency of the use of public resources

The National Directorate of Public Contracts (DNCP) and the Civil Association Development in Democracy (DENDE) will sign an agreement that will allow cooperation between the parties, in order to provide citizens with consolidated, true and reliable information, to continue promoting the effective use of public resources.

The cooperation agreement aims to establish lines of action that allow cooperation between both institutions, through the exchange of information, within the framework of the common interest regarding the purchases of goods and services from State Agencies and Entities.

Considering that both institutions have as principles the promotion of public policies, economic and social development, in addition to the promotion of sustainability; that the DNCP develops fundamental tools for transparency in State purchases, and following the line of promoting and enhancing transparency and efficiency, will carry out this agreement with DENDE, an institution of the civil sector whose mission is to contribute to the design and implementation of strategies aimed at national growth and development, strengthening Paraguay’s democracy.

The event will take place next Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Edith Jiménez room of the DNCP (USA 961 almost Lt. Fariña). It will be chaired by Lawyer Pablo Seitz, National Director of Public Procurement (DNCP) and Alberto Acosta Garbarino, President of Development in Democracy (DENDE).
