The Senatorial Office of the National District reported this Sunday that it will subsidize the education of nine children diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and other special conditions that affect learning.
Omar Fernández, senator for the National District, explained that the purpose is to guarantee the education of these children regardless of the economic or social condition.
“Every weight that this office receives must be returned to people, because these resources belong to them,” said the senator.
Of the cases that this office will attend, eight children received a year of schooling, five of them total and the rest of the partial assists, with resources from the Gadiel Fund.

The ninth case includes therapeutic assistance to a child with a diagnosis of attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD).
The National District Office distributed directly to the centers where these children will receive these children RD $ 1,059,000 received in August, for the Social Assistance Fund, thus complying with standards that guarantee assistance to the final beneficiaries.
