The title went to the Chinese favorites Yu Duan and Qian Ren, with 341.16 points, with a wide advantage over the Ukrainians Sofiia Lyskun and Oleksii Sereda (317.01) and the Americans Delaney Schnell and Carson Tyler (315.90), occupants of the other podium positions. , in that order.

Before this performance, Cuba’s best result in this event in world championships was 14th place, achieved in the event organized in 2017. Historically, the bronze in one of the 2019 Grand Prix also stands out, until now the only Cuban medal in this modality, underlines the publication.

The Cuban diving has starred in a commendable performance in this universal event, and still has the presentation of Carlos Daniel and Luis Gustavo Cañabate in the classification of the individual platform modality.

Both divers have already joined forces as a pair to achieve another meritorious sixth place in the synchronized platform test in the Hungarian event. In addition, Anisley became the first Cuban to advance to a world semifinal in the individual platform event, and Carlos Escalona even reached the same instance in the men’s three-meter springboard competition.
