Dismantled criminal gang that operated in Guárico

In an operation by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), jointly with all security agencies, they dismantled this Friday a criminal gang that operated in Guárico state, reported the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Ceballos stated that this gang was dedicated to “the crimes of: extortion of producers, collection of vaccines, prostitution, cattle rustling, appropriation of property, hired killers, kidnapping, instigation of hatred and drug trafficking” .

During the operation – Ceballos explained – 24 terrorists were captured, as well as 12 firearms and 21 vehicles were seized.

31 cell phones, 1,500 rifle cartridges, clothing, balaclavas, military uniforms were also seized, the criminal logistics structure and mobility were dismantled.

So far, the minister explained, the investigations are ongoing.
