They carry with them the seal of authenticity and culture.
News Colombia.
Colombia, a country known for its biodiversity, culture and traditions, is also home to a diversity of products that stand out for their quality and authenticity. These products, which range from food to crafts, have the Designation of Origina seal that certifies its provenance and its link to the unique characteristics of a specific region.
But what does this recognition imply and what products carry this distinction?
What is the Denomination of Origin?
The Designation of Origin is a certificate that recognizes and protects products whose quality and characteristics are intrinsically related to their place of origin. This seal not only guarantees the authenticity of the product, but also highlights the cultural traditions and artisanal processes that distinguish it. In Colombia, this recognition is granted by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) and is valid for 10 years, renewable for equal periods.
Certified products: Colombian Pride
