He disability allowance for children under 18 years of age is aimed at minors who have a severe mental, physical or sensory disability, and who are among the 60% most vulnerable of the population according to the socioeconomic classification of the Social Registry of Homes. In addition, it is a requirement to have continuous residence in the country for at least three years prior to the application date.
Other requirement is to have a resolution of the Preventive Medicine and Disability Commission (COMPIN) or a certificate or credential from the National Disability Registry that certifies the disability in force.
