The Diplomatic Association in Panama (ADP), held its traditional gala night, as a way of raising funds to support social projects carried out by the accredited diplomatic corps in the Republic of Panama.
The money raised during the gala will be allocated to the “Light for Education” project, a sustainable initiative that supports the education of our children and provides light sources to schools through the installation of solar panels, taken as a point of intervention in the province of Coclé and the Guna Yala region, supplying clean energy systems to more than three schools with a population of more than 1,000
youth and children with limited resources directly and indirectly.
In addition, by 2023, it is expected to launch the fourth school with this program, which will favor the La Yeguada Teaching Center, located in the village of Las Huacas, district of Nata in the province of Coclé.
The Ambassador of Costa Rica in Panama, Ingrid Picado Monge, president re-elected in 2023 by the members of the Diplomatic Association in Panama, thanked the personalities for their accompaniment
attendees at the evening, who will voluntarily support the success and culmination of another dream for the education of our children.
Picado pointed out that it is important to highlight that the Diplomatic Association in Panama carries out other programs throughout the year, positively impacting other communities, adding value to the management of the diplomatic community in the country with a high social commitment.
The evening was attended by more than 200 people who enjoyed the night of the event and at the same time were able to contribute to the achievement and development of this program: members of the diplomatic corps in Panama, government authorities, businessmen, representatives of international organizations, the media , among others; who, with their management, will make this project possible.
As a seed contribution they have their strategic allies CAF, Terpel, Unidos en Red and the businessman Ivan Blasser. Their incentives add to the effort made by the Association for the education and progress of
our relief generation as childhood is. That night they also thanked the companies Varela Hermanos SA, Grupo Bern, Grupo Tzanetatos, Fabiola Bracho, K & B Family Office, among others that with their
magnificent prizes made the gala an exciting night.
