Social leaders from Caracas received certificates of the “More Human City, Communal Management” diploma, in an event headed by the president of the Juntos Todo es Possible Corporation, Walter Gavidia, who highlighted that the objective is to strengthen the administrative and organizational capacities of Popular Power.
At the event where 57 certificates were delivered, Gavidia highlighted the commitment of the communities in the formation and consolidation of communal management. “This academic process reflects the willingness of the people to prepare and assume responsibilities in the construction of new forms of social organization.”
The spokesperson for the Commune 5 de Marzo Comandante Eterno, Fabiola Hugarte, highlighted the role of youth in this process. “Here we are, young people, providing energy and strength for the development of the communities.”
For her part, Marlene Canelón, representative of the Estrella del Sur Commune, stressed the importance of multiplying knowledge from the communities. “Each commune of Caracas seeks these experiences to consolidate the organization and projects that are necessary for each territory.”
