Diosdado to the bases in Lara: let’s not let the people down

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, swore in the heads of the streets, community and Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) elected between the months of August and September, in the state of Lara.

During the act, Cabello stressed to the recently renewed bases the importance of not disappointing the people.

“Let us never disappoint this People. I am proud to be a Chavista, moreover, I am a radical Chavista; We are not gossiping, we express our deep love for Chávez anywhere », he sentenced.

During the swearing-in ceremony, the first vice president of the red awning reiterated his call to maintain unity and strengthen the party’s work as a political-social force.

«Lara is present and always consistent with the Bolivarian Revolution. You are here because we have understood the process that Venezuela is going through, we are in a process of deep renewal that should lead us to transcend the resistance that we have had up to now, and that the Bolivarian Revolution be reborn, we have seeds sown and new fruits should be born”, said.

Cabello stressed that this renewal process, in which the party’s bases make decisions, the people chose and now they are due respect and recognition.

We hope to see Venezuela become a totally free, sovereign and independent nation. You are bosses, become the leaders; constantly consult those who elected you », he told them in a tone of recommendation.

He urged that the new street, community and UBCH bosses must consolidate a solid base of the revolution to carry out and fulfill the task of organizing and uniting, rejecting the intention of those who seek to divide and generate conflicts within the party.

“Let nothing divide us, let no one be able to sow discord or give cap, we are invulnerable to that,” he sentenced.

The PSUV structures were elected in community assemblies between August 13 and September 3 last, with a total of more than 260,000 for the street bosses; at least 44,000 communities and more than 14,000 UBCH.
