The first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, rejected on Monday the violent events that occurred on Sunday in Brasilia and affirmed that even if they say they condemn them, the United States “is behind it.”
The deputy to the 2020 National Assembly, Diosdado Cabello (PSUV), expressed his support for the criminal and parliamentary investigations announced successively by Tarek William Saab and Jorge Rodríguez against Juan Guaidó and other members of his interim government.
This Monday, January 9, the state media were the channels to “intubate” the official message of Madurismo for more than two hours: the interim government of Juan Guaidó and the deputies who still remain under the figure of the 2015 National Assembly are “a gang of thieves” who deserve “to be brought to justice.”
Cabello’s statements, in his first press conference as spokesman for the PSUV in 2023, reinforced the speech of the prosecutor appointed by the constituent, Tarek William Saab, who a couple of hours earlier described the group of opposition leaders as a “mega-gang of organized crime of Venezuelan parapolitics” and asked Interpol to capture them.
“A large part of Venezuelans have been waiting for legal action for some time (…) There is a sector of the opposition that feels cheated, not only by Guaidó, but by all that dispute and they are waiting for legal action. We are respectful of the actions of the Public Ministry and the Judiciary. The people expect justice and justice is necessary for there to be true peace in this country. Justice has its mechanisms (…) What is certain is that the criminal acts of that band of thieves that settled in the National Assembly of Narnia must be brought to justice,” said Cabello.
The also parliamentarian of the AN elected in 2020 and who dominates the PSUV also rejected the violent acts carried out in Brasilia by followers of Jair Bolsonaro against President Luis Inazio “Lula” Da Silva and that were merciless against the headquarters of the three public powers of Brazil.
“What is happening in Brazil must be condemned by the entire world, but truly condemned. Nobody can say that the government of the United States is more convenient for Lula than Bolsonaro (…) They (the US) do not regret anything, they are behind it, “added the spokesman for madurismo, for whom if the Joe Biden government really repudiated the violence against Lula “they would expel Bolsonaro, he is in the US and if someone takes him out, they will take him out to Europe from there,” ironized the host of the propaganda program with the mallet giving.
Bolsonaro, according to various reports in the international press, was admitted to a hospital in the state of Florida on Monday the 9th “for abdominal discomfort related to injuries from a knife attack in 2018 during a political rally,” quoted CNN.
