Diosdado Cabello: The Revolution takes care of the children of Venezuela

Diosdado Cabello: The Revolution takes care of the children of Venezuela

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Hairasserted that the Bolivarian Revolution takes care of the country’s children, not like the governments of the Fourth Republic that mistreated them.

“Don’t tell us that story about children because if someone mistreated children here in Venezuela it was in the Fourth Republic (…) Do you know who ordered that to stop? Hugo Chávez,” he stressed during his With the Gavel Giving program.

The sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace also stated that “if anyone takes care of the children of Venezuela here, it is us. If anyone here is concerned about the children of Venezuela, it is us, the Revolution. “Don’t come to us with stories.”

Likewise, Cabello questioned the actions of the parents of those who took to the streets on July 29 and 30 to make guarimbas, emphasizing that there are no political prisoners in the country.

“Where were those parents on the 29th and 30th who allowed their children to go to the streets to hang out? Where were they? Now we are the bad guys (…) Why didn’t they have the foresight to prevent their children from participating in that type of violent activities? “Are they going to worry about their children now in a campaign they have mounted?” he expressed.

He recalled that the detained people recorded themselves burning health centers, police modules, as well as hitting police officers and people “for appearing to be Chavistas.”

The Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace also assured that there cannot be impunity in the country as occurred in the years prior to the Bolivarian Revolution.

“A group has left and the parents have to sign a bond. What’s more, the State forces them to worry about their children, when a father should worry about his children without anyone forcing them. We have to go to that extreme, that the State forces them to worry about their children,” he said.

Failure of the far right

The first vice president of the Psuv made reference to the opposition María Corina Machado when questioning what they will say on January 10 when the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, is sworn in to hold office during the period 2025-2030, after winning the elections of the last July 28.

“What is alias La Sayo going to say on January 10? Who are you going to blame? How is she going to get rid of that responsibility if they gave everything directly to her alone? “She will find a way because they are irresponsible,” he added.

In addition, she expressed that she has deceived those who believe in her, inside and outside the country, about what will happen that day, who also question her. Cabello highlighted that these sectors have been failing after failing for 25 years, attacking each other and making plans against the country.
