Diosdado Cabello: the PSUV today is the party that Chávez always dreamed of

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said Thursday that the political group has transcended personal or group interests, and has become today the party that Hugo Chávez always dreamed of.

This was expressed at the celebration of the 16th anniversary of the PSUV in Caracas, in the Ali Primera Park.

“This party of our commander Chávez is strengthened every day with your conscience, with your spirit,” said Cabello.

Elections

Cabello highlighted the task that the PSUV has to win the elections.

In this sense, he said “we have to go in search of those who are upset.”

«Look for those who are dissatisfied, those who have been opponents all their lives and those who don’t like politics. The revolution has the moral to knock on anyone’s door”, he affirmed.

“Let’s make that map,” Cabello urged.

Likewise, he said that it is important to establish the position that the PSUV is going to win.

In this regard, he explained that the opposition will never recognize the electoral results, because they have always believed that we are going to elections because we are going to deliver, and we are going to win so that the revolution continues.

For her part, Carmen Meléndez, said that Commander Chávez warned that difficult times were coming, and “how much we have gone through and lived in these last years.” He predicted what was going to happen but he left a town on its way and here we are at this moment. All our national leadership with our president Nicolás Maduro at the helm.”
