As the story of a failure, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, described the book published by the former Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo entitled “Never Give an Inch”. inch).
During his program Con el Mazo Dando, he questioned the publication in which Pompeo dedicates a chapter to reveal the actions that were orchestrated against Venezuela from the White House during the administration of former President Donald Trump.
“There are self-help courses, right? I ask. Publishers normally publish the stories of people who succeed, but this bug printed a book to say that he failed with Venezuela, they printed it for him,” he said while referring to the confession made by the former Trump official regarding financing to the Venezuelan extreme right.
“A billion dollars says Pompeo that he was the boss, not all the time, of Juanito Alimaña (Juan Guaidó). 1000 million dollars, but Juanito Alimaña says that they only gave him 150 million and where did the rest go? Who got it?” he questioned.
ineptitude and corruption
He argued that this story shows the ineptitude that marked the plotters to overthrow the government of President Nicolás Maduro both inside and outside the country.
“Of course they went with the lie that it was ready. They sold you the lie and told you how much do you need? And those from here 1000 million and they gave it to them. And those people I still believe him but they are tired of believing to the point that this guy puts out a book assuming his failure, how he failed with Venezuela, not for lack of resources, not for lack of money, not for lack of effort, of people, no, they failed because they are inept, because this town does not give up,” he said.
Alex Saab case
The PSUV leader also referred to Pompeo’s narration regarding the kidnapping of Venezuelan diplomat Alex Saab and denounced that the disrespect of international laws by the United States is evident.
“Here it even comes out how they kidnapped this Mr. Alex Saab, who ordered him to be kidnapped because they are the United States, well, and they do not recognize anything or anyone because they are the United States,” he stressed and stressed that “those who want to see the story of a failure which is what this Pompeo thing should be called, find that book.”
