The second in command of chavismo, God given haircelebrated this Wednesday the departure of Michelle Bachelet, current United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (Acnudh), from her position at the international level, since, she assures, she has a “fixation” with Venezuela.
In the presentation of a report on the activities of her office in Venezuela, Bachelet said this Wednesday that between May 2021 and April of this year her team documented 166 cases of undue restrictions, which includes cases of criminalization and threats against dissident voices, in addition to 34 violations of freedom of expression.
The high commissioner also reported certain advances, such as the fact that no deaths have been recorded in peaceful protests related above all to the socioeconomic situation, as if it occurred in the 2017 anti-government protests.
“He is obsessive, it is a fixation he has with Venezuela. Of course, these are orders in between, ”said the leader about Bachelet. “The month of August is going to be good, many people who hate Venezuela, who hate Venezuelans, who are very envious of Venezuela, are leaving,” Cabello continued.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, will leave her post on August 31.
The also first vice president of the ruling United Socialist Party (PSUV) criticized the former Chilean president for keeping silent on other cases such as the murder of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh or the cause of the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, who could be extradited to the US where He is accused of espionage.
“Mrs. Bachelet, say something please,” urged Cabello.
