The first vice president of United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured during the reading of his weekly billboard on his program with the mallet giving that the Primero Justicia (PJ) party requested the disqualification of the opposition leader Maria Corina Machador in the 2024 presidential elections.

“PJ is asking for that, that we activate María Corina’s disqualification because she accepted a position. That’s what PJ is asking for,” she said. “Machado” is not our problem, it is the opposition’s problem (…) Do not put us to make that decision, “added the leader who He also affirmed that Primero Justicia leaders meet with Chavismo in secret.

Machado was disqualified for 12 months on July 13, 2015. Said sanction expired in 2016.

In his program on Wednesday, March 8, Cabello reiterated that Henrique Capriles “You have to figure it out” of his disqualification by the Comptroller because “maybe he doesn’t know that 17 plus 15 equals 32. You have to figure it out,” referring to the year 2032 in which the sanction supposedly expires.

During the broadcast on March 1, he recalled that Capriles himself was notified in 2017 of his disqualification. According to the communication that the Comptroller sent to Capriles in 2017, it is a reprimand “for incurring in illegal cases classified” as “not presenting the local budget to the State Legislative Council, agreeing to international agreements without authorization to do so and signing contracts by the Government of Miranda with companies that do not comply with the regulations”.
