In a strategic move to strengthen the presence of the Bolivarian Revolution in the digital sphere, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the sectoral vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced this Tuesday their active return to the social network X (formerly Twitter).
Both leaders highlighted that this decision responds to the need to massify the message of the truth of Venezuela and confront the negative opinion matrices from all possible spaces.
The reactivation of the accounts occurs after a period of absence that has continued since 2024. The announcement was made in a coordinated manner, reaffirming the unity of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the communication offensive.
The vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, set the tone by pointing out that he will reactivate direct contact with the people through this channel (@dcabellor), consolidating his role as one of the main communicators of the Revolution.
For her part, the mayor of Caracas Carmen Meléndez (@gestionperfecta), responded to Cabello’s call, reaffirming her commitment to digital mobilization: “We will continue the fight also in this way,” said the official, emphasizing that the platform will be a permanent combat tool.
The return of these key figures represents a boost for revolutionary militancy on social networks. According to the mayor, the objective is to use the platform not only to report on the progress of the “Perfect Management” in the capital, but to confront external media attacks.
With this action, the Chavista leadership resumes a terrain of high political confrontation, ensuring that Venezuela’s voice is heard strongly on the global stage that social network X represents.
