Dintel arrests “Saúl” wanted for several crimes in Montecristi

Montecristi, DR.- Members of the Directorate of Intelligence and Technological Crimes (DINTEL), accompanied by preventive police officers, arrested a man who was wanted for the commission of alleged crimes, and who was found to be carrying a firearm illegally.

The detainee is Saúl Ramón Cabreja Rodríguez, who was taken to the Montecristi police department, where he is being investigated.

At the time of being arrested, Cabreja Rodríguez had on his belt a gun Smith & Wesson brand, caliber 9 millimeters, without documents.

The arrest took place on Proyecto Street in the Francisco Javier or Sube y Baja sector of the Bella Vista neighborhood of this city, through intelligence work carried out by the authorities.

According to reports, the suspect is being investigated at the National Police Detachment and will be brought before the judicial authorities in the coming hours.
