Dino Mon, the Director assigned to the Social Security Fund, in an interview with Radio Panama said that the different sectors have presented seven proposals on the table in response to the request of the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, to create a bill to save the Social Security Fund.
“My final consideration will be to summarize what everyone is saying and I imagine that, to some extent, the proposals from different sectors will touch on whether or not parametric measures are required,” Mon explained.
Mon also pointed out that: “I do not believe in privatization, for me social security is state-owned.”
