The president of the Republic, Dina Boluarteinaugurated today the new pharmacy of the Police Welfare Fund (Fonbiepol), located within the National Hospital of the National Police of Peru (PNP), Luis N. Sáenz, in the Jesús María district.
This event, announced by the Secretariat of Strategic Communication and Press of the Government Palace, is part of the Government’s actions to strengthen access to health and well-being services for the police family.

The president highlighted the importance of this pharmacy as a significant advance to guarantee the availability of medications for police officers and their families.
“Our commitment is to the health and well-being of those who dedicate their lives to protecting us. With the opening of this pharmacy, we take another step towards an efficient and fair health system for our police officers”said Boluarte during the ceremony.
In addition to the inauguration of the pharmacy, the president participated in the delivery of disability certificates to the adult children of police officers, who will be affiliated with Saludpol. This measure seeks to guarantee health coverage for dependent family members of police officers, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to comprehensive support for the families of agents.
The activity took place from 10:00 a.m. at the PNP Luis N. Sáenz National Hospital, and was attended by authorities from the Ministry of the Interior and representatives of the National Police of Peru.
The event was a sign of the Government’s interest in improving living conditions and access to basic services for those who are part of the law enforcement forces and their families.
