Dina Boluarte to journalists: "They are our friends, spread the good that this government does"

In an unexpected turn, the president Dina Boluarte that prevents the press from covering their public events, appeared this Friday with a message for journalists and asked them to communicate the good things their government does.

“They are our friends, spread the good that this government does,” said the head of state in the middle of an activity at the Ministry of the Interior.

Boluarte He emphasized that the press is not an enemy but an ally.

“We are not giving up. We are not sitting at our desks. The ministers, the vice ministers, are in the territory because that is how the needs of the Peruvian people are known. This is not a bureaucratic government. It is a 4 x 4 government because we are all-terrain. We are in the rain, in the heat, in the elements,” he said, while asking for unity.

But his good spirits with the press. His criticism was a matter of seconds. The president described the criticism against her Government as “petty” when she assured that they are closing the year 2024 with positive figures.

Boluarte participated in the delivery of goods in favor of the Ministry of the Interior at its headquarters located in San Isidro and reiterated that he will continue to call for dialogue “even to those who think differently than our Government.”
