Boluarte Zegarra attended the Parliament building together with his lawyer, Alberto Otárola. She is accused of having represented the interests of another institution, the Apurímac Departmental Club, while she was a minister, something that is prohibited by the constitution.
Regarding this issue, he pointed out that although there was a president in charge of the Apurímac Club, she could not exercise the position or sign documents because she was not regularized in Public Registries. Boluarte is still listed as a representative of the club.
“The signed documents correspond to extraordinary general assemblies that began in 2019, before having assumed the position of minister,” manifested.

In his turn, Alberto Otárola, a lawyer for Boluarte Zegarra, maintained that some members of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations have advanced an opinion in favor of disqualifying the member of the Executive, for which he asked, as a preliminary matter, that said parliamentarians refrain to know and vote on said cause.
