Dina Boluarte spoke out again about the criticism her Government receives in the face of the wave of assaults and citizen insecurity that the country faces. However, he described the news that questions his management as “image terrorism.” During her speech at the commemoration of the Angamos Battle and the anniversary of the Navy, the head of state also took the opportunity to refer to those “pessimists and skeptics” and tell them that she is taking action in the face of the challenges that the country is going through.

“In this context, we have to fight a new evila new threat in the world. The war of lies, fake news, fake news, created in order to make image terrorism. An old method that totalitarians applied,” were the president’s statements after pointing out that Peru is a resilient country despite the current context.

Within the same event, Dina Boluarte referred to the country’s economic projections for the coming years and stated that they are positive and not stagnant. However, he accused that on social networks there are those who are dedicated to spreading lies with the aim of generating instability: “Supported by social networks, some dedicate themselves to lying in the quest to create instabilitythe favorable scenario to hinder the growth of the economy, which is the basis for job creation and the defeat of poverty,” he said.
