The Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarteruled this Wednesday on the investiture granted to the cabinet of ministers by the Congress. In that sense, he pointed out that, after the decision, the work team chaired by Aníbal Torres will continue to work for the country.
Through her social networks, she also Minister of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) welcomed the fact that Parliament has given the confidence vote so that both powers of the State can continue working together.
“The vote of confidence of the Congress commits us to continue working tirelessly and in unity for the country. Let’s strengthen this joint work between the Executive and the Legislative so as not to disappoint the challenge demanded by citizens,” he shared on his Twitter account.

In the same vein, the president peter castle expressed his gratitude to the Legislative for giving the investiture to the ministers of State and exhorted its members to “govern democratically through agreement.”
“I thank Congress for granting the vote of confidence to the ministerial cabinet. Let us show the people that we can govern democratically and that through political agreementwe will be able to respond to the great challenges of our country”, the president wrote on the same social network.

The cabinet of ministers chaired by Hannibal Torres received the vote of confidence from Congress in the early hours of this Wednesday, March 9. After the presentation of the General Government Policy, the Council of Ministers admitted the investiture with 64 votes in favour, 58 against and 2 abstentions.
