President Boluarte continues to support Minister Juan Santiváñez despite his mistakes
Dina Boluarte gave his support to the current Minister of the Interior,Juan José Santiváñez; In that sense, he denied that he was going to resign or be changed from his position, despite the increase in crimes of hitmen and extortion that have not decreased in the country and the mistake with the mistaken arrest of the supposed number two in command of Sendero Luminoso, issue for which he has not yet spoken.
“In the particular case of the Minister of the Interior, assuming a ministry is not an administrative job, it is more complex and time must be given to the ministers and officials so that they can show results, the figures speak for themselves of how many captured, of how many dismantled gangs, we have to give them the opportunity to give greater results. The change generates destabilization of public management, those who know public management know what I am talking about,” he responded.
Dina Boluarte denies covering up any fugitive from justice
At another point in the press conference and with his arrogant responses to the press, Boluarte He refused to answer who he visited during his stay at the Mikonos condominium because it was a “personal” matter.
“I want to tell the Peruvian population, the ‘cofre’, the only person who uses the ‘cofre’ is the president of the Republic, and it is not going to cover up any fugitive whatever their name is, that is my truth against Peru “In front of our brothers in the country, I do not protect any fugitives and rather those who are hiding them should hand them over because they will be complicit in not responding to justice,” he mentioned.
