The State Attorney General’s Office seeks to participate in the investigation against President Dina Boluarte for the alleged crime of genocide.
The Judiciary scheduled for this Thursday, March 2, a hearing to evaluate an appeal presented by the State Attorney General’s Office, in which it seeks to participate in the investigation against President Dina Boluarte for the alleged crime of genocide and homicide.
“The Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation will hold this March 2, 11:00 am, a hearing for the protection of rights requested by the State Attorney General’s Office, in an investigation against the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, and others for the alleged crime of genocide,” reported on social networks.
The appeal filed by the attorney general’s office asks to annul the act of continuation of the declaration of Alberto Otárola, Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense, which was carried out on February 16.
The State Attorney General’s Office reported that she was not summoned to participate in Prime Minister Otárola’s hearing on February 16. The proceeding took place at the National Prosecutor’s Office.
