The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarteheaded this morning the launch ceremony of the work plan of the national strategy to promote the certification of labor competences to 2025, developed in the Government Palace.
During her speech, the president stressed that this initiative seeks to expand certification coverage throughout the country, with the aim of improving the employability of thousands of Peruvians who, despite having work experience, do not have a formal accreditation of their capacities.
“The goal is one: increase the coverage of certification of labor competencies throughout the national territory and thereby improve employability levels. We want to reach more Peruvians, especially those who have occupations that could not prove their abilities,” said Boluarte.
The Head of State explained that the strategy contemplates the implementation of certification centers in all regions of the country, projecting to certify 54,932 people during 2025, which would carry the accumulated figure to 113,064 citizens certified nationwide.
“This is not just a figure, each certified person is a story. Certify competencies is not only an administrative act, but also an act of justice, inclusion and recognition,” he said.
Boluarte added that this effort represents important and necessary work for the country, since it grants support and recognition of thousands of workers who seek to improve their quality of life.
“We do it thinking about people who, when certified, will have a better future, a better personal and family development. This strategy gives us an important horizon, so the idea is to take it to every corner of the country, even the farthest, to build a more inclusive Peru,” he concluded.
