The Judiciary declared unfounded the request to prevent President Dina Boluarte from leaving the country for 18 months, requested by the Public Ministry within the framework of the investigation into the alleged cosmetic surgeries that she had performed during her mandate. The judicial decision allows the president to maintain freedom of movement while the investigation continues for alleged illicit enrichment and omission of duties, after it was revealed that she was absent from the Government Palace during working hours to undergo procedures at a private clinic.
