Boluarte thanked his Brazilian counterpart for his government’s support for Peruvian interests in Venezuela, after the dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro broke off diplomatic relations with Peru.

As a reminder, since August 5, Brazil has assumed the protection of our country’s interests in Venezuela, as well as consular cooperation for Peruvian citizens in the oil country and the custody of Peruvian diplomatic premises, assets and archives.
