Dina Boluarte blames the radical left for the social and political crisis

Dina Boluarte blames the radical left for the social and political crisis

Unlike its predecessor, she has sat on the set of several television and radio channels in the country in just her third week as president of the Republic. In all the interviews, the lawyer blames a sector of Congress for the social and political crisis: the radical left. He is not saved from that groupwho –according to Boluarte– owes him “responses to the country” for the failed coup d’état by Pedro Castillo.

Yesterday, in one of her last interventions in the media, the president spoke about the political crisis and the social upheaval after the change of command. “I did not imagine the misdirected response (from the population) to Dina Boluarte, because I am not the cause of all this situation of political crisis. I believe that the anger, rage and impotence of these leaders should be directed towards themselves, because they were the ones who led Pedro Castillo to make those decisions.”, he declared to RPP.

He said that the person who owes the country an answer for the latest actions of the professor’s government is Betssy Chávez. “She cannot go unnoticed in all this political crisis, she was the premier, she walked very close to the former president; it is she and those who were around her who must answer to the country”, he expressed.

LEFT QUARRY

Among other things, the head of state spoke about not expecting the demonstrations and protests to have “so much violence”. “I characterize myself as a provincial woman from the left but from that progressive, moderate left, who wants the development of her country, who wants to seek equality and equity with social justice, I am not from that radical, recalcitrant left, who wants to torpedo democracy ”he clarified.

In this sense, he asked all political sectors to work together. “Without political revenge from some curiously left-wing sector that wants chaos, misrule and anarchismor,” he stressed.

Along these lines, he blamed this sector (the radical left) for the violence in the protests inside the country.

I didn’t think there was going to be so much violence. Violence directed by some left-wing congressmen, the Prosecutor’s Office is already investigating (…) congressmen with whom I spoke calmly a few days ago, one of the calls I had was with he assured.

CONFIDENCE VOTE

Meanwhile, the premier of Boluarte,, went to Parliament yesterday to meet with the head of Parliament, José Williams. Upon leaving him, he informed that he will request the vote of confidence between January 6 and 10, 2023. “We are thinking that it could be the first week, the first Friday of January or between Monday and Tuesday of the following week”, he announced yesterday.

Keep in mind

  • I do not understand his anger and rage against me”, Dina Boluarte said about Guillermo Bermejo (Democratic Peru).
  • The head of Congress said yesterday that it seeks to advance the next legislature from March to February, to see the pending political reforms.
  • We seek to consolidate peace, reactivate the economy and guarantee that meritocracy is reinstalled”, said Alberto Otárola, president of the Council of Ministers.
