Dina Boluarte announces balance of her management in next message to the nation

The President Dina Boluarte He led the ceremony for the Day of the Air Force of Peru, accompanied by ministers, congressmen and senior military commanders, in an act that paid tribute to the national hero José Abelardo Quiñones Gonzales, symbol of the sacrifice and delivery by the homeland.

During her speech, the president announced that in the message to the nation of July 28, she will give an account of the progress made by her government and the challenges that remain to face in the final stretch of her management.

“In our next message to the nation we will realize our beautiful Peruvian people of everything advanced and the challenges we have towards our last year of management, but we must also look at the future of our beloved homeland,” Boluarte said from the Las Palmas Air Base.

The Head of State also highlighted the importance of this date for the country, remembering the heroic act of Quiñones during the conflict with Ecuador in 1941. “On July 23 is a super special and significant date in the calendar of the homeland and in the heart of the Peruvians, since it is the day that pays tribute to one of the most emblematic institutions of the country,” he said.

In that line, Boluarte recognized the courage of Peruvian aviators: “Serving the country is to embrace a cause greater than oneself. It is to defend the sovereignty, peace and well -being of all Peruvians.”

Finally, he reaffirmed his commitment to the modernization of the Armed Forces, especially of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), to face the current and future challenges with better technological and operational abilities.

“We are committed to the modernization of our armed forces, with greater emphasis on the Air Force, so that they are up to the current and future challenges,” he said.
