Digital prescriptions: photos of physical prescriptions for medications will no longer be accepted

From the Ministry of Health of the Nation, chaired by Carla Vizzotti, they ordered that the photos of physical medical prescriptions will no longer be valid when buying medicines in pharmacies, they will only be accepted digital recipes with certified signature. This initiative by Health intends to regularize medical orders that, at the time of crossing the toughest stages of the coronavirus pandemic, had exceptions.

The reason why it will not be possible to send photos of prescriptions carved by hand and will only be allowed digital recipesaccording to Sonia Tarragona, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Health, is that the captures of images or photos in question, “do not have the signature or registration of the professional who makes them validated.”
