The National System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family organized the race yesterday Let’s go together towards the goal
in which more than 7 thousand people of all ages participated. The presence of the Rarámuri girls and adolescent runners Lorena Ramírez Palma, Anais Fuentes Parra and Cristina Parra Nava stood out, who traveled from Guachochi, Chihuahua, to be at the event.
The purpose of the sporting activity was to disseminate the rights of children and adolescents, as well as to promote physical exercise as a measure to protect mental and emotional health.
The race was held from the Angel of Independence to the Monument to the Revolution and was divided into three categories: green, 500 meters for children from five to 11 years 11 months old accompanied by a responsible person; orange, one kilometer for adolescents from 10 to 14 years 11 months old, and red, 2 kilometers for runners from 15 to 17 years 11 months old.
