Legislator Diego Bazán (Country advances) was pronounced after this Thursday the plenary session of the Congress of the Republic approved to censor the Minister of Health, Hernán Condori, for the questions that fall against him. The parliamentarian urged President Pedro Castillo that the new head of this portfolio be a doctor, have a level and that there are no reasons that generate controversy around him.
“We hope that Mr. Castillo makes a decision as soon as possible. I have no doubt that Peru Libre is the government party, but there must be people who have the technical and professional capacity, as well as experience in public management, but not tainted by investigations that finally make his professional career suspect”, he pointed out to the press from outside the Congress.
“In that sense, We hope that (the new Minister of Health) is a doctor, that he has the level, that he has the height and that he enjoys the sympathy of the medical unions and immediately solve the issue of vaccination”, he added.
In that sense, Bazanmaintained that, although it is true, there may be good cadres proposed by the Government, the ideal would be to dialogue with federations, fronts and medical colleges to appoint a new Minister of Health.
Likewise, the parliamentarian of Avanza País even indicated that some congressmen who have shown themselves to be allies of the Executive have voted in favor of censorship against Condori Machado. “The votes in abstention of the ruling party show that they have a quite worn position”, he added.

On the afternoon of this Thursday, March 31, the plenary session of Parliament approved this Thursday, March 31, the motion of censure against the Minister of Health, Hernan Condoriwho must now leave office.
By 71 votes in favor, 32 against and 13 abstentions, the national representation accepted the motion presented last week against Condoriwho had already been questioned by the plenary session on March 23.
