Authorities say they enable 80% of the system after total electrical failure
Last night the national electrical service had been restored to 80%, after a major failure recorded in the morning in the Interconnected System (SENI), which caused the electricity system to shut down in a large part of the territory, however reports received from different parts of the country indicate that it was a general blackout.

This Tuesday, Line 2C of the Santo Domingo Metro was officially inaugurated, which connects kilometer 9 of the Duarte highway with the Los Alcarrizos entrance.
