The bank Central Dominican Republic (BCRD) reported that since July 17 of this year, RD$1,000 bills in their 2023 series began to circulate.
According to the bank, these banknotes were ordered through an international public tender in May 2023 and contain the same security features as the banknotes that circulated before them, which will continue to maintain their liberating force for the payment of all public and private obligations.
