Many people decide to vacation in paradisiacal places in Southeast Asia. AND During 2024, a renowned country became news for stop requesting an entry visa for Colombians who decide to go to that nation. What is it about?
Thailand, the Asian country that thousands of people visit every year for its culture, landscapes and extensive traditional cuisine, announced last July which has modified its migration policies, being more flexible with Colombians and allowing their entry only with a valid passport.
Precisely, on July 12, the kingdom of Thailand included Colombia and other Latin American countries in the list of nations from which its visitors can enter without the need for a visa.
The spokesperson for the Thai Ministry of the Interior, Traisuree Taisaranakul, had reported that Thailand will increase from 57 to 93 the list of countries whose citizens will not need a visa to enter. Among the new Latin American countries included are Panama, Guatemala, Cuba, Ecuador, Uruguay, Mexico and Colombia.
