Dictatorship unleashes persecution against staff of the newspaper La Prensa

The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo began, on the night of Wednesday, July 6, an intense hunt and persecution against the staff of the newspaper La Prensa, including drivers, photographers and reporters. They demand that the attacks stop

They also mentioned that as in most of the illegal arrests committed by the Ortega regime “there is little information that has been handled so far.” However, they insisted that relatives, lawyers and directors of the communication medium follow up on the situation of the detainees.

This Thursday, July 7, Arnulfo Somarriba, former general manager of El Nuevo Diario and the Ardisa printing press, linked to this medium, which closed operations in September 2019, was also arrested.
