Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel denounced the plundering of Venezuela’s resources abroad following the seizure of an aircraft that was providing transportation services to the nation’s president, Nicolás Maduro, by the United States government and with the consent of the Dominican Republic.
This was expressed on Monday by the Cuban head of state on behalf of X, when he denounced “the plundering of resources that belong to the Venezuelan State,” as well as demanding “the complete lifting of unilateral coercive measures against our Venezuelan brothers.”
Earlier on Monday, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministrythrough a statement, denounced before the international community that the authorities of the United States of America, in a practice that they described as “repeated criminal”, illegally confiscated an aircraft used by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The statement also highlights the role of the United States in intimidating and pressuring states such as the Dominican Republic, “so that they become accomplices in its criminal acts.”
