International agencies point out that one of the interests with which the Cuban delegation will arrive in the Russian capital is the importation of fertilizers, hydrocarbons and wheat.
The Russian Ministry of Economic Development, at the end of the 19th meeting of the Russian-Cuban intergovernmental commission for economic-commercial cooperation, had announced a day before that “the Cuban side expressed its interest in stable supplies to the island of fertilizers, hydrocarbons and Russian wheat”, according to the official TASS agency.
In Russia, Díaz-Canel will meet with his counterpart Vladimir Putin, and will participate in the inauguration of a monument in homage to Fidel Castro.
