On RCN Radio, Diana Hoyos talked about ‘Las Dolidas’ and other songs that have already become essential parts of her setlist of spite.

What few knew is that before acting, Diana studied singing, a passion that now explodes with strength and love. Her most recent release, ‘Las Dolidas’, is an open letter to all women who have suffered a heartbreak, a betrayal or simply need a reason to Meet with friends and celebrate life.

The single is not only a message of female empowerment, but also a tribute to friendship. Diana said that in the video of the song she wanted to reflect the reality of everyday life, inviting her lifelong friends and her fan club to participate.

“We had a happy time that day, singing, laughing, doing karaoke… something that we have all done at some point of spite, exorcising a little pain with music and fun,” he said.

In the middle of the conversation, the artist remembers one of the most important moments of her musical career: opening the concert of Christian Nodal in front of 18 thousand people at the Coliseum Live. For her, that experience was the realization of a childhood dream, to show her talent on a large scale and demonstrate that, despite initial doubts, she could achieve her musical goals.

“My dad was the first person who believed in me. He enrolled me in college, supported me every step of the way. “He thought I couldn’t sing because I had a hoarse voice, but here I am,” she commented with a laugh. Since then, Diana has worked tirelessly to consolidate her style and launch new projects.

‘Las Dolidas’ could be seen as an anthem of spite, friendship and fun. Diana defines it as a call not to stay alone at home, to go out, meet with friends, sing in karaoke or in a bar until you lose your voice and leave the pain behind.

“For me, singing out of spite even if you’re not in spite seems like the best. “It is a genre that connects with the lives of many women,” he pointed out.
